Could not back that up last time when 4.5 lengths away in seventh over 1400m at this track. One of the chances based on her best recent efforts. AHERNE (4) finished second last start over 1400m at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths. Facing a tougher assignment but he is capable of a big run. EXTRAORDINARY (5) was beaten 6 lengths into fifth in a 1400m contest at this track last time out. No surprise to see him in the frame.

Ready to go a couple better. KNOTTY CHALLENGER (4) resumed from a spell last start with a sound second over 1200m at this track. Likely improver with winning claims. COMMANDING KNIGHT (2) finished third last time over 1100m at this track when resuming from a spell, beaten 6 lengths. Placed to advantage so expect a forward showing.

FONDNESS OF YOU (3) couldn't have been more impressive first up last start when she scored by 5.5 lengths over 1200m at this track. Open to plenty of improvement and is among the winning hopes again. ADBHUT (9) is a promising galloper who won at his last run before a break four-and-a-half months ago over 1200m at Hyderabad. Should be involved in the finish. MACRON (6) turned in a fine effort to win by 4 lengths at today's track and distance when first-up from a break last time out. Meets a stronger field but he is good enough to figure in the finish.

6R : YUKAN (2) was on the turn and boxed on to finish second over 1200m at this track last time. P Trevor who has scored on him three times retains the mount. Well placed and should be in the finish. Group 2 placegetter ANDORRA (4) was comfortably accounted for when third last time out over 1200m at this track, beaten 4 lengths. That followed a win at Ooty at the previous outing. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot make amends. Group 2 placegetter ARTEMIS IGNACIA (6) saluted at the first run back from a spell last start over 1200m at this track, scoring by one length. Has been given a let-up of five weeks since that outing. Open to plenty of improvement and this looks well within her grasp. PEYO (3) didn't threaten when resuming last start over 1200m at this track, finishing sixth, beaten 6 lengths. Unbeaten in two starts when second up. Can do better this time.

Has an excellent record when second-up, including two wins, and should be better for that first-up run. Rates highly on best form and should go very well. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. SEOUL (5) is coming off a last-start fourth, beaten 6 lengths, over 1200m at this track. One of the key contenders. SOLO PRINCE (10) could only manage to finish fifth, beaten 13 lengths, at his latest appearance over 1400m at this track. Suited in this line up and is among the better hopes.
