RAPTOR (14) resumes in a similar race to her last run five months ago when 11th, beaten 13 lengths. Lines up today for the first time for trainer C D Monnappa. Rates highly and is likely to be prominent. FIFTY GRAND (12) failed to figure again last time over 1400m at this track, beaten 6 lengths into sixth. Well placed in this line-up and is among the better chances. KNOTT SO KNOTTY (8) improved sharply last time out to score by a long neck over 1400m at this track a week ago. Finds a tougher race but she has the ability to test this field. SARO LUCKY (12) finished second last time over 1200m at this track when resuming from a spell, beaten half a length. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again.

TAREK (4) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when 3.5 lengths away in second over 2000m at this track. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he has the ability to mix it with them. MELANIE (7) resumes after a break of six-and-a-half months. Trying to repeat her debut win over 1200m at this track to kick off last prep. Winning chance while fresh.
