MERAKI (11) is a 11-start maiden who finished fourth at her most recent outing over 1400m at this track. This looks a nice race so expect her to be right in the finish. MYSTICAL MERLIN (10) last appeared when fourth over 1200m at this track three-and-a-half months ago at the only appearance of that campaign. Should be prominent despite the awkward gate. Should be involved in the finish. IRONIC HUMOUR (8) was beaten 10 lengths into 11th in a 1400m contest at this track six days ago. Finds a nice race and can make amends.

3R : BEAUTIFUL OBLIVIAN (3) made progress last start to finish third over 1200m at this track. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. RAAZ (10) resumes from a spell of 11 weeks. Looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 1100m at this track. Good chance to break through. STONE HOUSE (2) returned from a spell seven weeks ago when it was beaten 10 lengths into sixth over 1400m at this track. Fitter so expect a better run this time. DEBONAIR (13) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when fourth over 1200m at Bangalore. Likely improver who should be about the mark.

One of the main contenders. Group 2 winner SHAMROCK (3) finished second when resuming from a spell last start over 1400m at Bangalore. Should be involved in the finish.

7R : Group 1 placegetter SHABELLE (12) is a consistent performer with two minor placings from three starts this time in work. 8R : BURMESE (5) broke through for his maiden win over 1400m at Bangalore last time. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Has a wide gate to overcome but he is likely to feature in the finish again. SERAI (4) is a talented filly who tackled tougher grade last time, finishing 10 lengths behind Nikolina over 1400m in Group 2 class at Bangalore. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Among the leading chances. MILOS (3) has been freshened up since a disappointing ninth two months ago over 1400m at this track. Generally goes well here. Strong claims on her best form. RIVER OF GOLD (6) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.75 lengths from the winner in second over 1400m at Bangalore. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role.
