Handy draw will assist so he should be in the finish again. MEHRA (8) is having her second run after she failed to threaten on debut last time, finishing 9 lengths from the winner in fifth over 1200m at this track. Has scope for plenty of improvement. Worth including this line-up. JERSEY KING (2) was never in contention on debut last time out over 1400m at this track, finishing sixth and beaten 17 lengths. Worth another chance with race experience now in the locker.

2R : SINGHSAAB (2) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1200m at this track, beaten 2.25 lengths. Finds a suitable race and can find the winner's circle. SLING SHOT (7) finished 7 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 1600m at this track, an improvement on his fifth at this track the run before. Finds a nice race and can figure in the finish. THEWHISPERQUIETLY (6) turned in a good performance last time over 1400m at this track, finishing 2.25 lengths from the winner in fourth. Won't be bothered by this longer journey. Can win this without surprising. KONICHIWA (8) was beaten 8 lengths into ninth in a 1400m contest at this track last time out. Suitably placed so can turn things around.

3R : RUSSIAN ROMANCE (7) was on a winning run of two races but last time out finished second over 1600m at this track. Rates highly this line up and is worth another chance. JE NE SAIS QUOI (3) turned in a fine effort to win by 2.75 lengths at this course and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Looks well placed so expect another big run. ARDAKAN (4) broke through for his maiden win over 1400m at this track last time, scoring comfortably. Shaping up nicely and he looks sure to be in the mix. SEKHMET (6) turned in another moderate effort last start when 6 lengths from the winner in fifth over 1400m at this track. Suitably placed so can turn things around.

4R : SILVER TOKEN (12) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then didn't feature last start when 9 lengths away in eighth over 1200m at this track. Going up a level this time but he cannot be taken lightly. ULTIMATE STRIKER (8) finished third two runs back at this track then improved last time out to score by 1.3 lengths over 1200m at this track. R N Darshan scored on him last time and retains the mount. It doesn't get any easier but on current form he is capable of another big performance. SOLO PRINCE (4) didn't do a bad job when second last start over 1200m at this track, beaten 0.8 lengths. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. TRIPITAKA (5) was beaten 5 lengths into ninth in a 1200m contest at this track last time out. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.

Deserves another chance. IN THY LIGHT (2) is a promising type who returns from a spell of eight months and remains unbeaten in two runs. Last appeared when he score by one length over 1400m at this track. Hard to deny his credentials. SERAI (9) failed to threaten when fresh from a spell last time out, beaten 7 lengths into eighth over 1600m at this track. Has a high cruising speed. One of the main contenders. MARZGOVEL (4) had been in top form scoring two wins on end prior to missing the frame last time out at Group 2 level at this track. Coming back in journey today. Form at this track is solid. Too good to ignore.

6R : TOP DANCER (4) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at this track. Not as effective last time out when fourth over 2000m at this track, beaten 5 lengths. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot make amends. PEYO (1) wasn't far away last time out, finishing second over 1400m at this track. The extra journey should play into his hands. Expected to run well. Group 1 placegetter SHABELLE (8) was safely held when resuming last start over 1400m at this track, finishing sixth and beaten 7 lengths. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Capable of testing this field. Group 1 winner ELPENOR (7) is a handy type who resumes after a break of six months. At his last appearance he finished seventh over 2000m in Group 1 class at this track, beaten 13 lengths. Has never been out of the placings first up from two tries. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Must be respected.

7R : BOLD ACT (3) is coming off a last-start fourth, beaten 5 lengths, over 1200m at this track. Will be hard to beat. CROSSWATER (1) won her maiden over this course and distance last start, getting the verdict by 2.5 lengths. Shaping up nicely and she looks sure to be in the mix. CHILILADY (9) is a six-start maiden who finished 11th at her most recent appearance over 1600m at Group 2 level at Madras. Expected to feature in the finish this time. BLACKSTONE (4) is returning from a spell of 11 months. Finished fourth at this track over 1200m at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer M Rajendra Singh.
