1R : YELLOW SAPPHIRE (6) was well in commission last start over 1200m at Madras when tenth, beaten 20 lengths. Certainly deserves another chance. LITTLE WONDER (8) did little and finished 8 lengths from the winner in sixth over 1300m at this track last start, a less impressive effort than his fifth at Madras the run before. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. AURORA BOREALIS (4) is finding the breakthrough elusive, beaten 11 lengths into seventh at her latest appearance over 1300m at this track. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Will be in this for a long way. ABNEGATOR (1) made progress last time out, finishing 5 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 1200m at Madras. No surprise to see him in the frame.

2R : MULTIWAVE (5) group 3 placegetter. Resumes. Didn't make an impact at his only run last prep on September 30 finishing seventh and beaten 11 lengths over 1200m at Madras. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Will play a major role. CLOUDY HILLS (1) finished seventh over 1200m at Madras at her most recent appearance on January 15. Runs very well here having never missed the frame from three starts. Sure to make her presence felt. THE REBEL (8) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1100m at Madras, beaten 4.5 lengths into sixth. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he is likely to play a big role. EMPEROR ASHOKA (3) returned from a spell six days ago when he was beaten 6 lengths into fourth over 1400m at this track. Likely improver with top-three prospects.

Finds an easier assignment and can return to winning ways. WINDSOR WALK (1) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 27 starts. Was again denied last start when he found a couple better over 1400m at Madras. Faces an easier assignment so he is likely to feature in the finish. WONDERFUL ERA (4) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 4.5 lengths when fifth over 1100m at Madras six-and-a-half weeks ago. Worth noting C Umesh goes aboard.
