R : ASHWA DEV (3) returned last time with a solid third at this track over 1200m. Hard to beat in this suitable race. OCEAN LOVE (10) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1200m at this track, beaten 10 lengths into eighth. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. AUTUMN SHOWER (1) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a fourth over 1200m at this track. Placed to advantage so expect a better run this time. AUTHENTIC BELL (8) finished second last time over 1200m at this track when resuming from a spell, beaten half a length. Will trim down second-up. Likely improver with solid prospects.

R : STRAORDINARIO (4) missed the frame on debut then progressed nicely at his second outing, finishing one length from the winner in second at the end of 1200m at Madras. Has the class to take care of this field. LAVISH GIRL (1) won her maiden four starts back and is ready to salute again after a string of recent placings, the latest when second over 1200m at this track. Has a high cruising speed. Will play a major role. ROYAL DEFENDER (2) stepped out for the first time last start and was just fair in finishing fourth at this track over 1200m, beaten 9 lengths. Shapes as one to consider. ZEBULA (5) is a three-year-old colt on debut from the stable of J E Mckeown. By Western Aristocrat from Cape Kidnappers. Worth watching for a betting push.

R : Multiple Group 1 placegetter STILL I RISE (4) has been kept fresh since he resumed last start and proved too strong, scoring by a nose over 1400m at Madras. Fitter for that last hitout and is all set to make it two-for-two this prep. WIND SYMBOL (7) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at Madras over 1400m. Has the pace to take a forward position. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. GOLDEN MARINA (9) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1200m at this track, beaten 4 lengths into seventh. Meeting a deeper field this time but she cannot be taken lightly. Group 2 winner KNOTTY DANCER (3) finished second last time over 1200m at this track when resuming from a spell, beaten a nose. Has raced four times here and has never missed the frame. Hard to beat in this suitable race.

R : The two Bangalore-based contestants, BHARAT (2), and STORM SHADOW (9), along with the migrant from Bangalore, IL VOLO (5), ought to dominate the finish in the second classic of the season.

R : MULTICROWN (3) turned in a fine effort to score by 4 lengths at this course and distance last start in a far better run. No reason he cannot salute again. SURYAKRISHI (7) impressed last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished 6 lengths from the winner in third over 1400m at this track. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. WONDER WOMAN (8) is back at the races for the first time since January 25. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 1400m at Bangalore. Has switched to the Deepesh Narredu yard. Definite top-three chance. CLOUDY HILLS (6) returned from a spell last start with a strong win by 0.8 lengths over 1200m at this track. Fitter for that last hitout and is worth following up.

R : WESTERN GIRL (8) is on a quick turnaround after a solid third over 1300m at this track seven days ago. Tricky draw to overcome but should be in the finish. HAPPINESS (2) finished second at Madras two runs back but was less effective last time over 1200m at this track, finishing 28 lengths back in eighth. Nicely placed to bounce back. RAFFINATO (4) finished 2.5 lengths away in second last time out at this track. On a seven-day back-up. Assisted by the rails draw and must go in the numbers. GAJABO GRANDE (10) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 1300m at this track. This looks a good race for him and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways.
