ASHWA YASHVIR (1) is a five-start maiden who returned last time and finished seventh at this track over 1400m, beaten 18 lengths. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Leading contender. NORMUI (11) ran a fair race on debut last time out, beaten 12 lengths into fifth over 1200m at this track on August 27. Among the better hopes. JIM (3) didn't do a lot on debut four weeks ago, finishing 10 lengths from the winner in fifth over 1100m at this track. Open to plenty of improvement. Expected to do more.

Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. PLEASANT STAR (5) impressed when successful on debut over 1200m at this track three weeks ago. Likely improver who should run well again. DESERT SULTAN (8) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time out over 1400m at this track, finishing second and beaten 0.8 lengths. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. DARLING'S BOY (7) is fitter for two runs back from a spell, progressing nicely last time to finish fourth, beaten 5 lengths, at this track over 1200m. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. One of the better hopes.

4R : AMBITIOUS STAR (3) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1200m at this track, beaten 11 lengths. Strips fitter and can feature. MIX THE MAGIC (7) is still a maiden after nine starts. Managed to find the placings at this track two starts back when resuming before finishing fourth over 1400m at this track last start.
