Top-three chance on best figures. CLYDE STAR (9) was below his best last time, finishing ninth and beaten 15 lengths over 1600m at this track. Well placed and should be about the mark.
2R : DEEMED TO FIRE (9) did well to score at this track two runs ago. Not disgraced last time out when second over 1400m at this track, beaten 1.5 lengths. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is good enough to play a major role. PERFECT HEART (5) fought on for second last start over 1100m at this track, making it two minor placings in a row. Should be prominent from the outset. Finds a suitable race and can go on to take this out. SERGEANT RECKLESS (2) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing second and beaten only 2.5 lengths over 1200m at this track. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Best figures should see her run well. Sure to be competitive. ALDGATE (3) ran second at his latest appearance over 1200m at Bangalore, finishing 2.5 lengths from the winner. Goes very well at this trip with six wins from 12 starts. Everything points to a big run.
