QUICK WITTED (2) improved last start to finish third over 1600m at Mysore. Meeting a deeper field this time but he has the ability to mix it with them. SPRINGSTEEN (1) resumes in a similar race to his last run ten weeks ago when 12th, beaten 9 lengths. Comes here with definite top-three claims. EMERALDO (3) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1200m at Mysore. Finds a suitable race and can go on to take this out.

3R : PERICLES (2) has not appeared since he scored over 1600m at this track on March 16. Among the top chances. MAGICAL BAY (1) lines up for the first time since August 25. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1200m at this track. Capable of playing a major role. TURKOMAN (5) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a fifth over 1400m at Mysore. Meets some better types this time but he has the ability to test this field. CASCAIS (7) resumes from a spell of three months. Has filled a minor placing at both first-up runs. Opened last prep with a third over 1200m at this track. Worth including.

Goes well when fresh with a win and two minor placings from three starts. Sure to run well. MAZAL TOV (2) was well in commission last start over 1600m at Mysore when fourth, beaten 3 lengths. Has never missed the frame here at this journey in four starts, including two wins. Sure to run well. LAUTERBRUNNEN (5) got home by just 0.8 lengths at his latest appearance over 1100m at Mysore. Big weight drop so he is one of the main contenders. RIVER OF GOLD (3) improved sharply last time out to score by 6 lengths over 1200m at Mysore two weeks ago. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort.

5R : ELFIN KNIGHT (6) is a talented gelding who was tested in tougher class last time when ninth over 2000m at Group 1 level at Hyderabad. P Trevor is back on and has a solid record on the three-year-old, including two wins. Sure to run well. BHARAT (7) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a spell on August 25 finishing seventh and beaten 11 lengths over 1400m at this track. Has ability and should be right in the finish. IL VOLO (3) scored last start at Mysore to make it two wins from four starts this campaign. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. One to consider. LA MCQUEEN (1) built on a nice third two starts back at this track with a win over 1200m at Mysore eight weeks ago, getting home by a head. Nicely placed to take this out.

Will prove tough to beat. MACRON (2) was sent out favourite last time when second over 1100m at Mysore. The extra journey should play into his hands. Right in the mix. GOLDEN TIME (5) finished 3.5 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 1200m at Mysore, an improvement on his seventh at Mysore the run before. Meets some better types this time but a big run will not surprise. PHILOSOPHY (1) has been in the market at her last couple of starts but hasn't made an impression, last start finishing fifth over 1600m at Mysore. Can sneak into the finish.

7R : ISABELLE (8) closed last campaign with three consecutive minor placings and is back today after a break of ten weeks. Has a high cruising speed. Best figures should see her run well. SMILE OF BEAUTY (2) finished sixth two runs back at this track then improved last time out to score by 1.5 lengths over 1200m at Mysore. Meeting a tougher field but on her best form she is capable of another big performance. EBOTSE (6) returns from a layoff of 11 weeks. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 1200m at this track. One to consider. TROPICAL MIST (10) made progress last time out, finishing 2.75 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 1100m at Mysore. Another forward showing is anticipated.

8R : TREASURE CHEST (6) finished 7 lengths from the winner in sixth last start over 1400m at Mysore, an improvement on his ninth at this track the run before. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is good enough to take this out. STORM SHADOW (4) returns after a spell of three months. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1400m at this track. Has found a suitable race. STRAVINSKY (5) closed last prep with a fifth over 1800m at this track on August 25. Worth noting that he opened the last campaign with a minor placing at this track over 1400m. Has a high cruising speed. Sure to be competitive. LONE RANGER (7) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a spell on March 9 finishing 12th and beaten 29 lengths over 1600m at this track. Lines up today for the first time for trainer S Padmanabhan. One to consider.

1R : EMPIRE OF DREAMS (1) and WESTERN GIRL (4) are the prime contenders in the opener of the day. Fluke hunters ought to try their luck with MARQUITA (2) and pray that she does not bleed like she did in her last few starts.

2R : Racing well below her last winning mark, SANTAMARINA STAR (11) has every chance of coming to the fore. Gallant in defeat last time out, LORD OF THE TURF (7) ought to be right there at the finish. A hunch says that pending-for-while REIGN OF TERROR (9) could well do it today.

3R : If MULTICROWN (7) were to revert to his winning tactics of hitting the front early, he would not find it difficult to swing back to winning ways. SEEKING THE STARS (3) is the next best. RELIC WARRIOR (6) has it in him to throw in a scare.
