BANGALORE REVIEW
R : FINAL CALL (9) returned last time with a solid second at this track over 1400m. This looks a sterner test than last time but she is good enough to take this out. MESCALITO (5) is back after a break of 11 weeks. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing third at his latest appearance over 1400m at this track. Has ability and is a solid chance. ROCK BANK (6) resumed over 1400m last time out and turned in a solid effort to finish second at this track. Won't be bothered by this longer journey. Sure to be thereabouts. DR ASH (2) could only manage to finish fifth, beaten 7 lengths, at his latest appearance over 1600m at Mysore. Likely to be thereabouts.
R : EMERALDO (6) steps up in trip and is backing up six days after finishing third at this track. Good effort last start and is worth following up. SACRED CREATOR (8) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1200m at this track, beaten 6 lengths into fourth. Nicely placed to get the prize. SUPERHERO (7) finished sixth at this track and distance at his last appearance 12 weeks ago. One to consider. BOURBON BAY (1) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1200m at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths. Strips fitter and should be thereabouts.

R : ANCIENT HISTORY (2) was a narrow winner two back at this track then in the placings last time at Mysore. Down in the weights on last run. Has been in solid form this campaign with a win and a placing from three starts. Expected to feature. AIRCRAFT (3) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 7 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1600m at Mysore. Going up a level this time but he deserves another chance. COUNT BASIE (5) is back after a break of 12 weeks. At the last run before the layoff he finished fifth over 1600m at this track. Rates highly on best figures and should be right in this. JOON (4) hasn't been far away since a maiden win four runs back, the latest effort a third over 1400m at this track on November 1. Should be prominent from the outset. Deserves respect on best figures.
R : DOMINA (9) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing second and beaten only 0.8 lengths over 1200m at Mysore. Must raise the bar but a big run will not surprise. THE STRIKINGLY (1) resumes from a spell of nine months. Looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 1200m at this track. Good effort to open last prep when in the money at this track over 1200m. Ready to find winning form. EMPHATIC (5) wasn't far away on debut last start over 1200m at Mysore, finishing fourth and beaten 3 lengths. Must be included among the main hopes. VALENCIA (8) is fresh from a spell of nine months and did hit the frame when last resuming at Hyderabad over 1200m. In a different yard now.

R : AUSPICIOUS QUEEN (2) finds it hard to win with two victories from 20 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 1200m at this track, beaten 5 lengths. Placed to advantage so expect a big run. VICTORIA DORESAANI (7) is back at the races for the first time since August 30. Scored over 1400m at this track to launch the last campaign. Sure to make her presence felt. AQUAMATIC (1) resumes in a similar race to his last run 12 weeks ago when second, beaten a long neck. Makes plenty of appeal. CROSSWATER (3) is back at the races for the first time since August 30. Scored over 1400m at this track to launch the last campaign. Has found the right race and is worth including.
R : GALAHAD (5) scored at his most recent appearance, getting home by a nose over 1600m at Mysore as favourite. That continued the good form this campaign, with two wins and two minor placings from four runs. Top chance again. DE VILLIERS (2) returns from a spell. Finished seventh at this track and distance at his only appearance last prep four months ago. Sound record at this distance with two wins and four minor placings from eight runs and is a leading contender. STAR GLORY (1) was well in commission when resuming last start over 1200m at Mysore when seventh, beaten 9 lengths. Form at this track is solid. Fitter and should run well today. AFRICAN GOLD (4) is having his first run since September 8. Goes very well when fresh with two wins from two starts, the latest over 1400m at this track at the start of last prep. Top-three claims.

R : THE GREY GERANIUM (1) finished third two runs back at Mysore then improved last time out to score by half a length over 1100m at Mysore. Must raise the bar but another big run will not surprise. PERIDOT (3) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1400m at this track, beaten 6 lengths. Has a fair record when second up, including two top-three finishes. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time. PETTES LOVE (11) was safely held when eighth last time out over 1400m at this track, beaten 8 lengths. That followed a win at Mysore at the previous outing. Likely improver with strong prospects. GLOW IN THE DARK (8) returns after 11 weeks in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a fourth over 1400m at this track. Has ability so don't underestimate.
R : FAST RESPONSE (4) is a progressive galloper who is first-up since finishing fourth over 1200m at this track 12 weeks ago. Has scored first-up from a spell before. Has a high cruising speed. Among the leading chances. THE GALLERY TIME (5) is back after a break of 12 weeks. Looking to emulate his win at this track to kick off the last campaign. Comes here with definite claims. TRUE PUNCH (6) scored over this journey two back then failed at the longer trip last time when 14th at Mysore. Can bounce back. MAYNE MAGIC (3) comes here following a win over 1200m at Mysore eight weeks ago, getting home by 2.5 lengths. Definite chance.
