GOLDIVA (6) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1600m at this track, beaten 5 lengths. Has a fair record when second up, including two top-three finishes. Fitter and sure to run well. TREASURE GOLD (1) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at this track, finishing third and only 2 lengths from the winner at the end of 1600m. Nicely placed to fill a top-three spot.

GYPSY SOUL (1) has been hard to follow recently, last time out finishing sixth over 1000m at this track. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Leading contender. Has scored first-up from a spell before. Should be prominent from the outset. One of the main contenders. MIDNIGHT EXPRESS (6) opened this prep with a win then was not as effective last time out when fourth over 1400m at this track, beaten 10 lengths. Likely improver with top-three prospects.

On her best form is sure to prove hard to beat. BAKLAVA (6) finished fourth over 1200m at Pune at his most recent appearance on September 15. Rates highly and should take some beating. APEROL (3) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid third at this track over 1200m. Has good early pace. Well placed this line-up and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. ULTIMO (9) returned from a break last start over 1000m and finished second at this track. Drops in weight. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Can feature in the finish.
6R : PRECIOSO (2) turned in a fine effort to score by 2.25 lengths at today's course and distance last start in a much improved run. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. YULETIDE (7) is yet to break through in 12 runs. Finished sixth at his last appearance over 2000m at this track on December 15. Well placed on this occasion and gets his chance to break the ice. HAGIBIS (5) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a seventh over 1400m at this track. Nicely placed to turn things around. LUMINOSITY (3) improved last time out, finishing 7 lengths from the winner in third over 1400m at this track. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort.
