MYSTIC BOND (1) returns from a break of 11 weeks. Consistent performer last prep whose most recent appearance resulted in a win over 1400m at this track. Goes well when fresh including two wins. One of the leading players. DEUS EX MACHINA (4) is coming along nicely this prep. Finished sixth when fresh from a spell two starts back at this track then improved and scored over 1200m at this track two weeks ago, getting home by a long neck. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. CONTRIBUTOR (6) turned in a fine effort to score by 0.8 lengths at this course and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Meeting a deeper field this time but he deserves plenty of thought.
6R : THALAIVAA (4) registered a strong win at this track two runs ago. Decent effort last time out when second over 1400m at this track, beaten 0.8 lengths. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. DABEET (5) started at $6 last time and ran below expectations, finishing tenth and beaten 9 lengths at this track over 1200m. Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. SIR CALCULUS (6) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1400m at this track, beaten 2.25 lengths into fourth. Finds a nice race and can figure in the finish. NATURAL GOLD (8) built on a nice third two starts back at this track with a win over 1200m at this track three weeks ago, getting home by 3 lengths. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
