MIRACLE STAR (8) resumed in a good race last start and finished eighth over 1600m in Group 1 class at this track. Will find this much easier. Placed at her only other second up appearance. Has a high cruising speed. Best figures should see her run well. MIGHTY HERO (2) is a two-start maiden who finished fourth, beaten 4.5 lengths, when resuming from a spell last start over 1200m at this track. Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come. TOLKIEN (4) has not been to the races since he finished second on debut over 1400m at Madras on March 1. One of the genuine contenders.

Has a very good fresh record, scoring two times including one over 1400m at Kolkata at the start of last prep. One of the genuine hopes in the race. ASAGIRI (2) was beaten 8 lengths into sixth over 1200m at this track a week ago. Capable of featuring prominently.

N R I JETPOWER (7) is a seven-start maiden who is well and truly overdue, finishing fourth at this track over 1200m last time out. Ideally placed to shed the maiden tag.
