VENENO (3) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 19 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 1600m at this track, beaten 10 lengths. Best figures measure up nicely. Makes plenty of appeal. LUCKY NINE (1) is having his second run back from a break after he failed to threaten first up over 1600m at this track, beaten 24 lengths. Should be prominent from the outset. Sure to be thereabouts.
2R : ZALIA (5) turned in a good effort on debut seven months ago when 5 lengths away in third at this track over 1100m. Has not been to the races since that outing. Sure to have improved over the break and should be in the finish again. POLKI (2) resumes in a similar race to her last run five months ago when third, beaten 6 lengths. Rates highly and should take some beating. LIVE IT LOVE IT (1) has not raced since being well supported on his debut back on February 4 when he finished fourth over 1100m at this track. Plenty of scope for improvement. ROSALIA (3) returns after six months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a seventh over 1400m at Mumbai. Can kick off with a bold showing.
3R : KING OF MAFIA (5) is backing up quickly after finishing in the money at this track over 1400m just seven days ago. Strong run last time and should prove tough to beat. ROMAN SPIRIT (6) resumes today after filling a minor placing at his only appearance last prep at this track over 1200m on April 4. Has the pace to settle in the leading division. Among the leading chances. STORMY OCEAN (1) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a spell on 3/04/2025, finishing fifth and beaten 5 lengths over 1400m at this track. Worth plenty of thought. OUTLANDER (3) lines up for the first time since February 19. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1100m at this track. Comes here with definite top-three claims.

4R : DUBAI PRINCESS (4) finished 5 lengths from the winner in second when resuming last start over 1400m at this track. Has a strong record this course, scoring at five of 10 starts. Sure to run well. VINCENT VAN GOGH (3) is having his first run since March 27. Has a very good fresh record, scoring three times including one over 1600m at this track at the start of last prep. Will be hard to stop. CLIFFORD (1) finished eighth when resuming at Bangalore two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1400m at this track, beaten 6 lengths. Steps up a level but he is good enough to figure in the finish. BLACK EAGLE (2) was never really a threat when resuming last start over 1400m at this track, finishing 17 lengths from the winner in eighth. Has a superb record here at the journey with three wins and a 100% top-three strike rate. Don't underestimate.
5R : MADRAS CHEQUE (9) returns from a break of five months. Consistent performer last prep whose most recent appearance resulted in a win over 1400m at this track. Rates highly and a bold showing is expected. GO FOR THE MOON (3) missed the frame when resuming last start over 1400m at this track but wasn't all that far from the winner. Has never been out of the placings at this stage of the prep. Should be prominent from the low draw. Will prove tough to beat. SUPERLATIVE (1) finished third over 1200m at this track at his most recent appearance on April 4. Among the better hopes. DRAGON'S GOLD (2) was beaten 4 lengths into seventh at the second run back from a break in a 1400m contest at this track a week ago. Nicely placed to find some form.
6R : SWIFT LADY (5) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just three wins from 35 starts. Did a good job last start to finish third over 1100m at this track, beaten 6 lengths. Best figures measure up nicely. Makes plenty of appeal. I SMELL THE DANGER (4) opened this prep last start with a third, beaten 6 lengths, over 1200m at this track. Hard to go past. ARETHA (6) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a spell on 7/03/2025, finishing fifth and beaten 10 lengths over 1600m at this track. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. LINEUPANDCOLLECT (8) finished third last time over 1600m at this track when resuming from a spell, beaten 16 lengths. Will trim down second-up. Placed to advantage and can fill another top-three spot.
