Looks well placed so expect another big run. EL ALAMEIN (7) was safely held when second last start over 1400m at this track, beaten 9 lengths. That followed a good first-up win at this track. Likely improver with strong prospects. AUGUSTO (3) hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when sixth and beaten 23 lengths over 1400m at this track. Nicely placed to turn things around.

STAR SERENADE (9) recorded a gutsy maiden victory last time out over 1400m at this track, scoring by 0.8 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Jumps from a wide draw but she is one of the main chances. BELLAVITA (5) finished third last start at the first run back from a spell over 1200m at this track, beaten 6 lengths. Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. In the right race and is a key runner. ECLIPSE PULSE (8) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1200m at this track. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well.

Suraj Narredu gets the best out of this five-year-old colt. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. MANDARINO (7) is a talented gelding who was well held last time out in the tougher won by Positano over 2200m at this track, beaten 16 lengths into eighth. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Best figures should see him run well. ALL ATTRACTIVE (1) resumes today after filling a minor placing at his only appearance last prep at this track over 1200m on February 10 2024. Lining up today for the first time for trainer V Lokanath. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. One to consider. SHUBANKAR (2) produced another moderate effort last start when 18 lengths from the winner in 11th over 2200m at this track. Worth noting Y S Srinath goes aboard. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.

6R : POSITANO (2) proved too strong last start and scored by 1.3 lengths over 2200m in Group 2 class at this track. Has raced seven times here and has never missed the frame. Back a level after tackling a tougher race last time. Top chance in this field. RISE AND REIGN (6) resumed over 1600m at Mysore last start and was too good for her rivals, scoring by 1.5 lengths. Won at her only second-up appearance and must be respected. RAMIEL (1) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when ninth, beaten 17 lengths, over 2200m in Group 2 grade at this track. Has a solid record at the third run in and can find peak form this time. VICTOR HUGO (5) is a last-start winner two weeks ago, scoring by 15 lengths over 1800m at this track. Hard to knock.

7R : BEZAWADA SULTAN (8) did a great job to score by 2 lengths over today's course and distance when first-up from a layoff last start. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is good enough to play a major role. AGERA (10) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time when beaten a neck into second over 1200m at this track. Has a high cruising speed. Will give a great sight. WELLINGTON (3) finished eighth two runs back at this track then improved last time out to score by 9 lengths over 1400m at this track. Goes up a rung or two but he is worth serious consideration. AHERNE (4) has not won for a long while. Last raced on July 20 when beaten 13 lengths into fifth at this track over 1400m. Well placed and can run a better race.

8R : RAFFLES (12) stepped up in trip to 1400m last time at this track and ran below his best, finishing 6 lengths away in fifth. Looks better placed over this shorter trip so is expected to be in the finish. MULTISIDED (5) was a determined maiden winner last time out, scoring by a neck over 1200m at this track. Winning rider A R Pradeep stays aboard and she is worth including. SMALL DREAMS (1) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 11 lengths when fourth in a 1400m contest at this track a week-and-a-half ago. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. MEHRA (2) hasn't been far away since a maiden win five runs back, the latest effort a second over 1100m at this track on July 20. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Not to be discounted.
