1R : SOUTHERNARISTOCRAT (8) was well in commission last start over 1400m at Mysore when fourth, beaten 6 lengths. Certainly deserves another chance. STRIKING EYES (5) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing second and beaten only 1.75 lengths over 1100m at Mysore. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she is good enough to play a major role. LEX LUTHOR (3) has not won for a long while. Last raced on October 17 when beaten 17 lengths into eighth at Mysore over 1400m. Nicely placed to bounce back. FOREVER ROYAL (2) last appeared when he failed to finish on June 22 at this track. Now under the care of new trainer V Narayana Gowda. One to consider.

NOBLE CAUSE (3) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by 1.75 lengths over 1200m at Mysore. Well placed to feature in the finish again.

4R : REGAL REALITY (4) was last at the races when she finished second over 1400m at this track on June 29. Looks a winning chance. JERSEY KING (2) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 0.8 lengths from the winner in second over 1200m at Mysore. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. EXCELLENT LASS (1) returns from a spell of three-and-a-half months after back-to-back wins to close last campaign, the latest over 1200m at this track. Suraj Narredu who has scored on her four times retains the mount. Capable of running a bold race. ELFIN KNIGHT (5) finished second two runs back at Mysore then improved last time out to score by a head as favourite over 1600m at Madras. Looks well placed so expect another big run.
